Those unique cutting boards and other exotic handmade items he and his wife Linda were creating in their garage eventually became the foundation for that business, Papa Bear's Woodshop.

Formed in May 2003, Papa Bear's Woodshop is a truly innovative home-based business. This energetic husband and wife team operate out of a 1728 square-foot manufacturing and warehouse space that they designed and built themselves in the rural town of Homedale, Idaho.
Although Don's woodworking experience began in high school, Linda's talent developed out of her desire to help with the numerous home improvement projects they faced when they moved into their new home.

Papa Bear's uses distinctive wood combinations and designs to present its customers with a wide array of, one-of-a-kind products.
